If you haven’t visited Bite Dental Works, we want you to know what to expect from our Calgary clinic. On this page, take a tour of our office, complete with photos. Once you’re ready, contact us to schedule your appointment.
We have a patient refreshment area stocked with coffee and tea for your comfort while you wait. If you have children, they can amuse themselves in our children’s play area.
Discuss your treatment or financial options in our private consultation room. Patients can view digital pictures of their mouth and learn about their treatment options with our multimedia patient education system. You can discuss financial issues with our treatment coordinator in complete privacy, out of the earshot of others.
Watch cable television or listen to music under a warm blanket while we look after your dental needs. Our treatment rooms are fully computerized so that we can digitize pictures of your teeth, book your next appointment, and print insurance forms or photos before you leave and go to the checkout/account desk.
When you leave our office, we make the checkout process as quick and easy as possible. We have office chairs at our checkout/account desk, and your insurance forms will be ready for you when you finish your appointment. You’ll book your next appointment, sign your insurance form, swipe your debit or credit card, and then leave. If you want to that is—feel free to linger in our comfortable reception area!
Your children can enjoy themselves in our play area during your appointment or before and after their own appointments. We have games, puzzles and toys for their entertainment, or they can watch a cartoon or kids’ movie. No adults are allowed—dentists included!
We use the most up-to-date sterilization methods available to protect you and your family from cross-contamination. Our sterilization procedure includes a commercial, high-temperature dishwasher and a steam autoclave (which is monitored by the University of Alberta to guarantee efficacy).
Any disposable waste is safely removed by Mediwaste Disposal.
A panoramic X-ray shows all of your teeth in addition to your full upper and lower jaw. It’s an excellent screening X-ray that uses only very small amounts of radiation to get an image of the entire mouth. It’s also an effective way of viewing the wisdom teeth.
